Vikings' Freedom® Model VK474 Residential Concealed Pendent Sprinkler is designed for installation where the appearance of a smooth ceiling is desired. The larger 5.8 (84) K-factor is well-suited for residential systems requiring a higher water demand. Viking’s flat plate concealed sprinklers are available with three cover plate options; standard round, large diameter round, and square. All flat cover plates are offered in nine standard finishes and a nearly unlimited variety of custom colors. The VK474 is also compatible with Viking’s innovative installation tool for concealed sprinklers, which allow for protective cap removal and cover plate installation from the floor, without the use of a ladder. The VK474 is offered in a 165°F (74°C) temperature rating and is cULus listed for up to 20 ft. x 20 ft. (6 m x 6 m) coverage areas.
