The Viking Halar® Coated Deluge Valve along with the foam concentrates listed above, have been tested and witnessed by the Approving Authorities as indicated on the technical datasheet.  Currently, neither UL nor FM have a specific equipment standard for listing or approving concentrate control valves.  Therefore, no formal listing or approval is currently available. However, based upon the requirements of other fire protection equipment standards and the specific foam concentrate test completed, it is anticipated that the valves indicated as being tested, will meet any new equipment standard which UL or FM may develop for foam concentrate control valves.
